The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), followed by the National Education Ministry and the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, have been named the top three state institutions with the best “accountable” performances for 2010.
The awards were handed over based on results of an evaluation on the institutions' performances by the Administrative Reforms Ministry.
The three institutions were among 10 state institutions given a “B” grade for their 2010 performances.
Others include the Culture and Tourism Ministry, the State Development Finance Comptroller, the Supreme Audit Agency, the National Aeronautics and Space Agency, the Home Ministry, the Administrative Reforms Ministry and the Constitutional Court, respectively.
Seventy-nine ministries and state institutions were included in the evaluation, according to a press statement distributed by the National Education Ministry on Monday.
